The new approximately 67,000 square-foot Public Safety / City Hall connects citizens to key City services better than the former facility. 

Facility features include:

• Centralized customer service counter
• Co-location of Police, Fire & EMS staff for greater efficiencies
• Cell phone reception in all areas of the Public Safety Department
• Patrol and investigation located in one area for better response to needs
• Separate interview rooms and designated entrances for privacy and security of victims and suspects
• Controlled environment for testing, processing and packaging of forensic evidence to aid in successful procecutions
• Evidence bays for secure storage of vehicles and oversized items
• Centralized operations in the event of an emergency
• Temperature-controlled garage to increase life-cycle of emergency vehicles and equipment
• Close proximity to the Washington County Service Center

Beyond the services, your new facility provides you with improved access and connections to elected officials, public safety officers, and the City staff who serve you.

We’re combining police, fire, and EMS administration, and general government services which act as the platform for increased efficiency in services and improved cost savings. Sharing resources and facilities avoids unnecessary and costly duplication of facility spaces and personnel.  We're proud to say that we were able to accomplish this project on time and under budget.
